We Create to Heal
I created Mateza Gallery to showcase my artwork and individuals overlooked by the mainstream. The word Mateza combines the name of my daughter and sister, and all of us are artists. We use art to heal our anxieties and fears, and it speaks for us when words are not enough.
We Teach to Learn
We create and sell Fine Art, books, accessories, and more, and we teach. I am intentional about representing all colors of visual artists. I want the students to see themselves and imagine their possibilities in the arts. I am constantly learning new things from the artists I discover, most importantly, from the students.
We Uplift the Voices of others through art!
